HD BEV & FCEV Batteries Team is recruiting a VIE Commodity & Project Buyer, for a 13 months contract in Gothenburg, starting September 1st 2025.

What will you work with as a buyer in HD BEV & Fuel Cell Battery team?
    
You will, as a key member in the battery segment team, contribute to hosting strategic partners and contributing with the battery ecosystem. That means e.g.:  
•    Contribute to building the expertise within the battery segment and the understanding of the complete supply chain with a special focus on the Battery Systems (market, suppliers, competition, technologies, projects, new business models, total cost of ownership etc.)  
•    Be the key interface to the strategic partner across the group
•    Perform activities required for the portfolio as such as enable and build partnerships, negotiations, project implementation, crisis and risk management, sustainability activities and total cost optimization   
•    Deliver the defined KPI’s on time and in accordance with set targets (Revenues, Uptime, Project)  
•    Continuously securing supplier QDCFTSR performance. QDCFTSR = Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management.   
•    Ensure strong and efficient collaboration with a large internal network  
•    Work in accordance with processes defined within Volvo Group trucks Purchasing as well as with our defined Values (Customer Success, Trust, Passion, Change, Performance) in focus
