Are you looking for a job in geoscience? What could be more exciting than getting your first professional experience in the Gulf of Mexico? You will work with cutting-edge technologies, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the production of extremely challenging deepwater fields. The company portfolio in the USA is made of non-operated onshore and offshore assets with very diverse subsurface characteristics and various degrees of maturity. Our mature brownfields require thorough synthesis of all available subsurface information and efficient teamwork aimed at unlocking future opportunities. As a part of our team, you will also witness green fields going on stream and follow up the exciting results of first production. Together with the Operator, we will calibrate our understanding of the field behavior based on these observations and adjust development strategy accordingly. 

You will be expected to contribute to the following activities: 
• Validate and interpret seismic and well data 
• Perform geological synthesis and construct 3D geological models of the reservoir 
• Ensure the proper evaluation of volumes in place and the associated uncertainties 
• Participate in the dynamic synthesis with the Reservoir Engineers 
• Participate in subsurface studies to define the reservoir plan of development or the appraisal program 
• Follow-up deepwater drilling operations, support the acquisition of subsurface data and the accomplishment of well objectives 
• Ensure proper storage of geological data and studies into the field reference database.

This position is an excellent opportunity to develop not only your technical, but also communication skills while presenting, discussing and influencing the optimization of production at technical workshops with our partners. We are looking for a highly-motivated quick learner with attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Candidate Profile Expected qualifications:
- Engineering degree in oil and gas geology or geoscience

Technical skills :
- Understanding of geosctatistics
- Mapping 
- Volumetrics evaluation 
- Basic well logs interpretation 
- Geomodelling skills 
- Data management 
- Good presentation skills 
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently within the company and with partners

Computing skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
- Geomodeling: experience with Petrel and/or Sismage is higly desirable
- Basic geophysical interpretation (any software, some experience is a plus)
- Well log analysis and interpretation (any software, some experience is a plus)

Languages:
- English: level C1/C2
- French: level B2
