This position is responsible for providing an elevated level of service to guests in the luxury Villas at The Hotel Hershey. The Villa Dining Attendant will uphold The Hotel Hershey service standards and exceed guest expectations in maintaining a clean and orderly Villa Concierge Lounge, preparing and facilitating the presentation and service of all food and beverage offerings in the Villa Concierge Lounge, as well as transporting food, beverage, and amenity items to and from the Villas.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Provide exceptional guest service and anticipate guest needs in maintaining the luxury atmosphere of the Villa Concierge Lounge.*
Maintain familiarity with Hotel property and current knowledge of services and opportunities, to be able to respond to guest inquiries.*
Skilled at handling guest concerns in a thorough and professional manner.*
Create an aesthetically pleasing presentation of the buffet line, including food, display pieces, plates, serviceware, toaster, and all equipment on the buffet for all meal times.*
Set up and maintain an aesthetically pleasing presentation of the beverage station, including hot and cold beverages, soda fountain, complimentary bar, and beverage hydration station.*
Serve alcohol at the designated times.*
Maintain order and cleanliness of Villa Concierge Lounge, front and back of house, including setting and clearing tables.*
Maintain an adequate stock of supplies and equipment, including ordering and retrieving deliveries in a timely manner, storing them with precise organization.*
Transport food, beverage, and amenity items to and from the Villas with a company vehicle.*
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years or older.
Must have a valid driver’s license, a condition of continued employment.
Must pass the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) when hired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to read, speak, and write English to acceptable standards.
Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision.
Must have organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.
Must maintain a highly professional demeanor and adhere to the HE&R Core Values.

This position is subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, frequently lift up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.
This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which most likely require evening and weekend hours.
