Vineyard Operator

We are currently seeking a casual vineyard operator in which you will work for one of Australia’s most notable wineries. You will be based at our Langhorne Creek Vineyard site

Ideally, you will have had viticulture experience. However for the right candidate we are willing to teach you everything that you need to know to work in our vineyards.

Our vinyards utilise the most modern comfortable equipment available on the market.

Your unique contribution

Based at our Langhorne Creek site, you will be responsible for assisting in growing quality fruit and developing our vineyards via performing various vineyard operational tasks, in accordance to set standards and under supervision. During Vintage you must be able to work 12 hour shifts (Day or Night) and weekend work.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Performing vineyard activities as per seasonal demands

Operating plant, equipment & machinery

Undertaking crop protection activities

Undertake irrigation system maintenance

Housekeeping activities

Vineyard development & maintenance

Reporting & Administrative tasks

Previous vineyard or agricultural experience is preferred

Ability to work in an outdoor environment

Experience in operating various plant, equipment and machinery

Pass a pre employment medical and drug test as this is physical rol

Full Drivers Licence (HR Licence of benefit)

Forklift Licence, Chemical Accrediation and First Aid Certificates would be highly deisired
