THE JOB:
The primary responsibility of the VIP Services Courier is to elevate the guest experience by providing outstanding customer service and handling various errands for the VIP/Villa departments. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $17.04 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Run errands for VIP and Villa guests, including picking up show tickets from other properties and performing personal shopping
Manage all guest requests and complaints, resolve issues promptly, and follow up to ensure satisfaction
Provide refined luxury service proactively to ensure guest satisfaction
Be knowledgeable about all hotel services, features, and local attractions to accurately respond to guest inquiries
Recommend activities and make reservations for guest entertainment, dining, and other services
Handle calls on a multi-line phone system, offering assistance as needed
Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure that rooms are cleaned and prepared for daily arrivals
Assist penthouse guests with curbside check-in and escort them to VIP elevators
Assist VIP casino and hotel guests with hotel registration, check-out, and concierge requests
Contact hosts to review and finalize guest bills at check-out
Restock amenities in the VIP Lounge
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must currently have or be able to obtain both a Food Handlers card and Alcohol Awareness card
Ability to operate various types of vehicles including both manual and automatic transmissions
Proficiency in computer software such as Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as office equipment including telephones, copiers, and fax machines
Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
One (1) year of previous guest services experience in a similar resort setting
One (1) year previous experience in VIP Services, Front Desk, or Concierge
Six (6) months of previous multi-line phone handling
Proficiency in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
