JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking applicants for the VIP Marketing Strategy & Innovation Specialist position who will report to the Manager and Director of VIP Marketing Strategy & Innovation. This role serves in a Business Analyst and Salesforce Administrator capacity with added project management expectations. The role will ensure success and client satisfaction by helping to gather requirements and extend capabilities of the CRM tool utilized by the VIP Marketing Organization. This position is part of Caesars Entertainment’s Corporate VIP Marketing department that serves all property Host teams across the enterprise as well as Hospitality Sales and Inside Sales groups. The position is based in Las Vegas, NV.
As VIP Marketing Strategy & Innovation Specialist you will understand Caesars VIP programs and strategies, have a project management skill set, and possess deep understanding of the Salesforce platform with the ability to configure, test and deploy solutions in a fast passed iterative environment using agile methodologies. You will leverage your ability to articulate that knowledge and write user stories that drive continuous improvement and delivery of VIP capabilities, and marketing product technology. Additionally, you will be customer driven, collaborating closely with VIP Strategy & Support team members, IT Delivery Resources, Project Managers, Analytics, property leadership groups, vendors and various sales/service channels taking ideas, enhancement requests and helping to prioritize the backlog.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS and RESPONSABILITIES:
Assist with end user Cases providing technical support, troubleshooting and overall administration duties on the Salesforce platform utilized by the VIP Marketing organization enterprise wide and Hospitality Sales teams. Be an acting business analyst resource supporting a marketing product backlog as part of an Agile delivery team. Work in an Agile Kanban/SCRUM methodology and in a fast changing, iterative and dynamic environment with many different stakeholders. Manage the intake process of ideas and enhancement requests from stakeholders and assist in collecting business requirements. Help to write user stories, and acceptance criteria working closely with the Product Owner (Director of VIP Marketing Strategy & Innovation), the Manager of VIP Marketing Strategy & Innovation and the IT Agile Development team. Ability to listen to end-user desires/requirements and translate those into user stories and easy-to-use elegant solutions; always emphasizing the “why” first before being concerned with the “how” While developing a deep understanding of the processes and functionality of the systems used by the Caesars VIP Marketing organization and Salesforce end-users, intense focus on the user experience is paramount to ensure a successful rollout and high user adoption. Strong project management, technical and creative approach to solving problems and troubleshooting end user requests and needs. Frequent collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders including VIP Strategy & Support team members, analytics, IT delivery resources, Hosts, Casino Sales Executives, and outside consultants/vendors. Conduct technical process reviews, user acceptance testing, and work in partnership with business stakeholders, IT and consultants to meet product roadmap goals. Self-Starter, Self-organizing and works effectively as an individual or with stakeholders to understand business needs and enterprise strategies as they roll up to VIP Marketing capabilities to match company initiatives. Assist in identifying growth and efficiency opportunities within the VIP Marketing organization to contribute towards the design and deployment of innovative sales and service solutions on the Salesforce platform and other CRM products. Providing guidance on what to build and when to build. Ensuring the work done by the team aligns with the wider business strategy. Recommend backlog user story prioritization to VIP Innovation leadership ensuring high potential, high return projects from a company perspective are implemented.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Salesforce Certified Administrator or related certification strongly preferred with a minimum of 1-2 years working on Salesforce products building or supporting solutions. Project Management experience or certification preferred. 1 - 2 years of professional work experience with cloud-based CRM software, marketing technology or sales systems in a product management capacity. Professional work experience in casino marketing or hospitality sales/marketing is encouraged but not required.QUALIFICATIONS:

High level of understanding about how data works and an ability to manipulate data using a variety of tools including Salesforce SOQL, Microsoft Excel and Access. Understanding of Agile project management / software development methodologies. Ability to help manage multiple projects in a fast-changing, iterative environment with many different stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to communicate at both end-user and executive levels. Proven problem solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical abilities. Ability to learn quickly and think creatively. Adaptable to changing requirements, changing schedules. Ability to manage commitments across multiple projects. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Be a Salesforce governance champion. Qualified candidate will need to be an experienced CRM administrator or marketing technology professional with proven skills. Preferred candidate must have familiarity with Salesforce products, be proficient in project management practices and be savvy towards technology.
