JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the VIP Server is to ensure complete customer service and satisfaction by serving and providing beverages to our guests to ensure an enjoyable experience during their stay.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service, is required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner.
• Must have previous experience working in a nightclub and/or entertainment venue.
• Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and scheduled shift.
• Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
• Requires standing and walking continuously with a tray up to 15lbs throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry 15lbs.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat during the summer months.
• Must be able to stand for entire shift.
• Must be able to access service area when picking up beverage orders.
• Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise.
• Must be able to stoop, bend and reach.
• Must have the manual dexterity required to write drink orders prepare drinks and garnishes and beverage orders.
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers.
• Must be able to tolerate secondary smoke.
• Must be able to tolerate working in loud and noisy environment.
