Job Summary
As a member of a team that provides technical support for the business operations of a nationwide corporate and manufacturing company, an Oldcastle APG IT VIP Support Analyst is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting client PCs and printers; troubleshooting data network and VOIP communication issues; and tracking break/fix information in a centralized incident tracking system. The structure of the team is designed with flexibility in mind, giving members of the team opportunities to undertake higher level tasks and projects.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to VIP clients and executives, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
System Management: Manage and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, mobile applications, and Active Directory.
Proactive Support: Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify and address potential technical issues before they impact users.
Incident Management: Handle and resolve complex system issues, escalating when necessary.
Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring VIP clients receive exceptional support.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
Job Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in technical support, particularly with VIP or executive clients.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, mobile applications, and Active Directory.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
Experience with Mac OS, iOS, and Android OS preferred.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices preferred.
