Job Description To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages/ or products purchased in The Virginia Wine Experience venue. Responsibilities + Operate within ABC guidelines. + Familiarize yourself with daily happenings and inventory. + Work amoungst team and individually when neccessary. + Receives all checks from the guest and processes them to the proper payment method. + Fully perform open and closing duties. + Post all checks into the computer using the correct check number for reference as well as check control purposes. + Excute POS system. + Balance work with computer. + Assists in answering phones forThe Virginia Wine Experience as needed. + Serve wine and execute wine flights. + Provides amazing customer service from the moment the guest enters The Virgina Wine Expereince. + Educate customers and guests on Virginia wine and the history of the wine industry. + And any other reasonable duty assigned by management or supervisor Qualifications + Must be 21 years of age at the time of hire. + Must be able and willing to stand for 8-10 hours each shift. + Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. + Must have an outgoing and positive disposition. + Knowledge of appropriate verbiage for fine dining setting(preferred) + Previous customer service experince. + Weedend availability.
