40We are seeking a Virtual Care Specialist to join our Patient Access Strategic Work Team.
The Patient Access team uses the Agile methodology (Scrum framework) and is charged to develop and execute solutions that increase patient access for our community. This is your chance to use your skills to help improve and create new opportunities for patients to connect with us digitally.
What You Will Do:
Promotes the use of technology to provide care to patients in a virtual setting
Help build the Access Scorecard for the organization.
Collaborate with department leaders and staff to identify issues, develop ideas, and implement changes in clinical workflows that help achieve organizational goals related to patient access.
Work closely with the Patient Access Strategic Work Team members, including the solution owner, scheduling specialist, data analyst and Registered Nurse.
Become familiar with the Scrum framework and participate and lead various scrum events, as well as meet and collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Report out on results to senior leaders with other Strategic Work Team members.
What's Available:
Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday days
Location: Hybrid eligible position, ability to work onsite occasionally based on business needs. Training would take place onsite in Onalaska, WI Support Services Building before transitioning to a remote basis.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health care field or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in the area of quality improvement or performance improvement, with experience in working with large projects. Skilled with use of Microsoft Office tools, word, power point, excel, and flowcharting software, such as Visio
PMP, Six Sigma, Lean certifications a plus but not required
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and healthcare software.
