Job Opportunity: Virtual Design Technician\n

Are you passionate about design and technology? Join our team as a Virtual Design Technician and support Engineers and Project Managers by creating detailed CAD drawings for commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting systems.\n

In this role, you'll use CAD software and laser scanning technology to create designs and 3D BIM models. You'll collaborate with others to coordinate drawings, resolve design clashes, and maintain an organized drawing file system. The position also involves performing site surveys at commercial job sites and providing virtual design assistance to engineers, project managers, and field personnel. Additionally, you'll mentor a Virtual Design Assistant and ensure that all work complies with company standards.\n

To succeed in this role, you should have an associate degree or equivalent technical training in CAD, drafting, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience. A strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting systems design is essential, and proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Fabrication CADmep, Navisworks Manage, and Microsoft Office is required. Revit experience is a plus. You should also have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.\n

Applicants must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and be comfortable traveling to commercial job sites.\n
