Virtual Event Producer

**The Opportunity**
The Virtual Event Producer at Manulife will be responsible for leading all aspects of virtual and hybrid events from inception to completion. This includes planning, coordinating, and completing virtual events such as webinars, virtual conferences, online workshops, and live streaming sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event production, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating seamless and impactful digital experiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Event Planning and Strategy:**
+ Collaborate with internal partners to define event objectives and goals.
+ Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.
+ Research and recommend digital platforms and tools that best fit the event requirements.
**Content and Program Development:**
+ Work with speakers, presenters, and content creators to develop engaging and relevant content.
+ Coordinate rehearsals and content reviews to ensure high-quality presentations.
+ Build and manage event agendas, run-of-show documents, and production schedules.
**Technical Coordination:**
+ Coordinate the technical setup and configuration of virtual event platforms.
+ Coordinate with IT and AV teams to ensure all technical aspects are functioning smoothly.
+ Troubleshoot technical issues during live events to minimize disruptions.
**Marketing and Promotion:**
+ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials.
+ Manage event registration processes and attendee communications.
+ Apply social media and other digital channels to drive event attendance and engagement.
**Event Execution:**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact during live events, leading all aspects of the production.
+ Monitor event progress and make real-time adjustments as needed.
+ Ensure a seamless and engaging experience for all participants.
**Post-Event Analysis:**
+ Collect and analyze event data and feedback to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
+ Create post-event reports and presentations for internal and external collaborators.
+ Apply findings from past events to continuously improve future productions.
**What are we looking for**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in digital event production or a related role.
+ Strong understanding of virtual event platforms (e.g., CVENT, Zoom, WebEx, ON24, Hopin).
+ Excellent project management and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
+ Strong technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrates a creative approach with a strong focus on detail and quality.
+ Experience with video production and editing software is a plus.

**Salary range is expected to be between**
$71,925.00 CAD - $119,875.00 CAD
