Are you ready to be with a company that truly values your contributions? We are currently looking to hire an experienced Virtual Machine (VM) Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role you will be primarily responsible for working within the VMware vSphere environment to build, modify, deploy, and configure Windows and Linus based virtual machines (VMs). This role supports both new and legacy courses within the customers propriety LMS. 

Requirements:

Deep knowledge of VMWare tools and products, especially vSphere and ESXiFive (5) year's VM maintenance experience and troubleshooting techniquesComfortable with command line scripting and architectures in different systemsWell-versed in scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or BASH as well as programming languages, such as CKnowledge of physical computer components and architectures to include:Functions of various components and peripheralsBasic programming conceptsAssembly codesTCP/IP, OSI models,Underlying networking protocolsSecurity hardwareProficiency in writing, editing, and executing scripts on Windows and Linux systemsMust be resourceful and a self-starter and complete tasks within realistic time framesBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or technical discipline from an accredited college or university   

Highly Preferred:

Experience programming in languages such as C++, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, SQLExperience with Ansible and HashiCorp tools, especially PackerCertifications such asCEHLPTGXPNGPENGREM CCNACCNPCCIERHCECompTIA’s A+Cloud+Server+
