Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Virtual Recovery Coach to join our team. The Recovery Coach position is responsible for providing direct patient support as well as therapeutic interventions. Therapeutc interventions will be conducted in adherence to the philosophy and principles of Monte Nido. Responsibilities Include: Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Responsible for providing a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients. 2. Models therapeutic eating habits with clients by eating provided programmatic meals and snacks aligned with company’s nutrition philosophy to completion throughout shift. 3. Monitors patient safety (including eating disordered behaviors) during the program day and intervenes with recovery-focused directives when appropriate. 4. Monitors bathroom activities and break times during the day. 5. Documents in daily reports and patient meal logs, all information, interactions, communications, behaviors and interventions in a timely fashion. 6. Run one to two groups weekly as appropriate based on education level and skillset. Other Duties and Responsibilities 1. Participates in weekly to bi-weekly staff meetings to continue personal and professional growth as well as building cohesion amongst the treatment team. 2. Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of a patient’s total needs as a person, and addresses psychosocial, physical, developmental, spiritual, and cultural issues as appropriate for each individual. 3. Has working knowledge of the program’s emergency protocols. 4. Adheres to and follows the Monte Nido & Affiliates polici.es and procedures, including work schedule, time and attendance, and time off. 5. Uses tact and sensitivity in communicating effectively and respectfully with patients, families, co-workers and all others. 6. Provides for maintenance of confidentiality of patient records and communications. 7. Maintains the values and philosophy of the mission statement of the Monte Nido & Affiliates. 8. Recommends quality and/or process improvement initiatives in order to more effectively and efficiently perform the job functions of this position. 9. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of office experience in a health-related field preferred CPR certification required within 90 days of hire Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
