The Virtual Treasury Management Officer will develop new business and retain existing business by working with Consumer and Business Banking (CBB) clients and prospects – typically, companies with annual revenues less than $20 Million. The main responsibilities will be the generation of new treasury management fee income and new deposit balances, along with the support and retention of current CBB clients assigned to various Relationship Managers and/or Branch Managers. Located in a centralized environment, and the sales officers will conduct sales and service interactions primarily via telephone and email.
This person will also:
Generate commercial deposits and/or fee income from new Treasury Management relationships, generally within businesses with less than $20 million in revenue, and increase customer penetration and usage of basic Treasury Management products and services. Provide advice and counsel to clients and prospective clients regarding available services to improve their internal business processes. Analyze competitive account analysis statement and create pricing proposals. Preparation of sales presentations and RFP (request for proposal) responses. Develop and conduct active market and relationship call planning and CDTM reviews and achieve revenue & production goals.
Meet internal and external client needs through account/service maintenance. Utilize Customer Care as appropriate and/or properly utilize internal processes and systems to initiate and fulfill maintenance requests.
Facilitate implementation and billing of new products and services for new and existing clients. Follow up with customers to verify proper delivery/use of services purchased. Work directly with clients through the pre-implementation process while ensuring quality delivery in accordance with client service levels.
Maintain strong relationship with internal partners; actively participate with assigned team. Respond to inquiries from Relationship Managers, Branch Managers, and clients in a complete and timely fashion. Act as subject matter expert so as to improve the partners' knowledge of the Treasury Management products and services. Proactively manage customer portfolio for needs relating to F/X, and Wealth Management & Institutional Services .
Participate in internal and external training to enhance skills and knowledge. Maintain a working knowledge of the Treasury Management industry. Adhere to internal and external policies, procedures and relationship to meet audit requirements and customer expectations.
Mentor and train other Treasury Management Officers and Client Delivery Specialists to ensure consistency of activities and results.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, or Accounting. Required
Experience
2-4 years Treasury Management sales with an emphasis on deepening relationships and revenue production. Required
Licenses and Certifications
CTP - Certified Treasury Professional within 1 year. Preferred
AAP - Accredited ACH Professional within 1 year. Required
Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive self, if applicable. by start date. Required
