Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgenergymi.com Summary: The Vision Systems Engineer II will participate in prevention of quality issue in advance and maximize output (yield, OEE) through the establishment of inspection system, management of inspection equipment maintenance, improvement of inspection equipment performance, and the introduction of new equipment. Responsibilities: + Submit daily production reports on improvements and KPIs which is distributed to production teams and HQ + Support production through adjusting parameters daily + Installing vision system machine, make schedule for installation equipment, distribute schedule to production teams, HQ, and vendor + Inspection machine PM management (inspection machine maintenance/performance management) + Inspection equipment improvement activities + Improving/managing inspection machine accuracy and detection power + Establishment of inspection information management system + Expansion of equipment and dissemination/application of new technologies for inspection + Review/plan of inspection machine model development and model change + Developing technician skill and improvement plan and implementing + Establishment and management of inspection machine standards + Establishment and revision of PFD, BM/PM/PD Manual + Compliance with health/safety/environmental/ fire regulations + Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: + Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain + Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container + Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience Experience: + 3-6+ years of experience or equivalent relevant experience Skills: + Comfortable working independently and with others + Results-oriented and perseverant + Critical thinking and problem-solving skills + Project and process management skills + Strong attention to detail + Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve + Facilities/Equipment related knowledge + TPM and PM knowledge + Six Sigma knowledge + MS Office Suite
