The successful candidate will support the BS and MS programs in chemistry and environmental science, teaching quantitative analysis and instrumental analysis. Additional assignments may include teaching general education chemistry courses. Opportunities to mentor students by establishing independent research is also possible. Minimum Qualifications PhD by the start of appointment in analytical chemistry or related field. Preferred Qualifications At least a one-year experience teaching chemistry or related field at the college level. Documented experience or interest in evidence based or innovative teaching methods. Essential Functions and percent of time: Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester of BS and MS courses and labs in analytical and instrumental chemistry or service teaching in general education chemistry courses. (75%) Conduct service in collaboration with the department and the college, supporting the BS and MS programs in chemistry and environmental science. (25%)
