The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a full-time Visiting Lecturer for the 2025-2026 academic year term; the position is on a two-term basis, with an anticipated start date of 25 August 2025. The position is outside of the tenure stream, subject to annual review, and entails teaching one section of Biochemistry and one section of Communicating in the Biological Sciences in each of the fall and spring terms. Minimum qualifications are a PhD degree in Biology or a related field with teaching experience; preferred qualifications are publication of research work, experience teaching large lecture courses, formal training in teaching, and experience as sole instructor. Lecturers must be able to participate in on-campus activities in person.
