Visiting Professor of Psychology
Visiting Professor in Developmental Psychology. The Department of Psychology at Wesleyan University invites applications for a one-year visiting professor in developmental psychology to begin September 1, 2025. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate teaching experience. The appointment carries a 3-2 teaching load. The successful candidate will teach courses in developmental psychology, and potentially statistics, and/or introduction to psychology. Other responsibilities include advising undergraduate majors. A Ph.D. in psychology or a related field at the time of appointment is required to be hired at the professor level; an appointment as an instructor is possible for a successful A.B.D. candidate. The Psychology Department currently has 18 full-time faculty members in the areas of neuroscience, psychopathology, cognitive, developmental, cultural, and social psychology.
