Visitor Control & Reception (Top Secret Required) Location VA - Arlington Job Code 11554 # of openings 1 Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=AKIMEKATECH&cws=43&rid=11554) The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Visitor Control and Reception (Active Top-Secret Clearance Required) to support our government customer located in Arlington, Virginia. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assist the site Facility Manager and Security Manager in resolving facility and security related issues, providing onsite support and security presence. + Greet all guests, verify if a visit authorization request was sent to the Government or other organizations, provide proper badge (if a VAR was not sent and clearance cannot be verified then an escort badge must be provided and the person treated as uncleared), and person responsible for the visitor is notified. + Assist the Government in preparing for key leader engagement or other large meetings. This includes preparing nametags, assisting with conference room preparation, pre-printing sign-in sheet, etc. + Validate parking requests once approved by the Director or Chief of Staff. + Gather and maintain statistical data for the formulation of required monthly reports and/or deliverables. + Consolidate all required supply purchases in coordination with the Government Chief of Staff. + Step in as backup to the facility operations manager with respect to contracted after-hour guard force issues; provide operational briefs and special instructions to contracted after-hours guard force as needed, as well as visitor entry control with respect to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). + Step in as backup to the security manager in issuing facility badges to permanent personnel. This includes receiving the request for a badge by Government personnel, verifying the visit request and clearance, and issuing the badge the time allowed per the visit request. + Assist the Facility Manager with escorting uncleared visitors related to facility or security matters. This includes escorting for office renovations or classified paper destruction pickups (“burn bag” runs). + Assist in purchasing and inventory management of office equipment and office supplies. + Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + Must be familiar in working with government agencies containing SCIFS. + Must have three plus (3+) years’ experience working in a DoD facility, processing visitors for VARs, proper badging and escort requirements for non-cleared personnel. REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE: + Must be a U.S. Citizen. + Must have an active TS/SCI clearance. ​The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is a fast-growing government service provider.
