Overview

Performs a variety of safety related functions while involved in the safeguarding of employees, patients, visitors, physicians and property. This position is also responsible for issuing clearances for visitors/non-employees into UHS facilities.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred:Prior customer service experience

License/Certification

Minimum Required:Must be able to successfully pass a background investigationPreferred:Ability to meet the requirements of the NYS Security Guard License
