40Summary:
The Cook Children’s Health Foundation’s Visual Communications Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, creating and producing visual concepts and materials for cross-channel initiatives that will help achieve Cook Children's Health Foundation's (CCHF) organizational objectives. This position works closely with members of the Foundation team, as well as Cook Children's Marketing department to promote donor retention and acquisition as well as the adherence to Cook Children’s brand standards. Creates and drives assigned design projects from beginning to end, with ability to manage multiple projects at once, adapts quickly to feedback and deliver high-end, multi-layer campaigns with quick turnaround times. Demonstrates flexibility in dealing with unanticipated projects that have tight turnaround times by adjusting schedules for other projects and clearly communicating those changes to teammates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years related work experience in print, digital, web design.
Training in fine arts/graphic design.
Must have experience in creating and preparing digital files for print and web use.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Exceptional computer literacy skills.
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite - highly proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to establish priorities is essential.
A generous, kind attitude coupled with a desire to collaborate is a must.
Strong team orientation and skill in working with a wide range of colleagues.
