Role Description: Visual design and developer – Digital Learning Solutions
We are seeking exceptional Visual designer / developer (eLearning) talent. You would be working closely with Instructional Designers, Visual Design & Developers and Head of Digital Learning Solutions to develop eLearning, Digital Solutions and its implementation. The position reports to the Head of Digital Learning Solutions.
You will be responsible for designing and developing training materials (mainly eLearning, Videos, Illustrations and Animations) using different methods and applications. You’ll work closely with an Instructional Designer and Head of Digital Learning Solutions to ensure the effectiveness of solutions for the intended audience.
To function in this position, you must be self-directed, good knowledge in trends with the WBT area and project oriented.
Knowledge, skills, and characteristics required:
Domain specific
Very good skills and knowledge about visual design, development and programming, commonly used tools like Animate CC, Captivate, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Articulate Storyline and similar. HTML5 skills are mandatory since many of the eLearning will be distributed on mobile devices.
Core ELearning design/ development skills.
As a designer/developer, you should also possess the following core design and development capabilities:
Understanding of eLearning process, from analyse to storyboard/manuscript, design, development, and distribution. Creation of Moodboards: Visual design suggestions to define the eLearning framework and pitch the content to customer. Creation of Design: Develop framework, Graphical User Interface (GUI) and graphical elements for eLearning. Multimedia Development: Use multimedia tools (Animate CC, Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator etc) to develop eLearning programs. Object oriented programming, HTML, HTML5, Javascript, API, Integrate Audio and Video in different formats (fly, Wm, mpg4, mp3, Wav, etc) Review existing eLearning: review and secure the quality of code structure in existing eLearnings. Knowledge about SCORM coding and standards: Standards like 1.2, SCORM 2004, TinCan (xAPI). Experiences working with different LMS are valuable.

Education and experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following fields preferred namely, Elearning Design / development, Web Designer / Developer, Multimedia & Communication, or similar disciplines. Knowledge of web and Elearning development and different objectivities, adult learning principles and learning theory Knowledge of information mapping and eLearning design principles Approximately 5 to 8 years of experience as an Elearning designer / developer in eLearning business / operations.
