This is a hands-on role where you’ll create visually stunning, user-focused designs for our digital platforms. In this role, you will be working alongside a team of designers, video producers, copywriters, and project managers. What you will do:

The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Visual Designer, your responsibilities will include: 

Execute top-quality visual design work for a digital platform. Manage all design aspects of a project from start to finish.

Understand and respond to customer insights and performance data to steer the direction of your creative

Create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements

Understand user experience best practices for web and mobile interactions

Manage multiple requests from various internal teams on projects of varying length and complexity. Monitor workflows with tools such as Jira, Monday.com.

Maintain and evolve our visual design language to ensure a cohesive look and feel across all platforms

Collaborate with the video team to produce visually compelling designs and multimedia content, incorporating video editing, basic 2D animation, and motion graphics to elevate brand storytelling

Proficiency in video editing software and animation tools to create polished marketing materials, including promotional videos, social media assets, and engaging visual narratives

Find ways to improve workflows, leveraging automation tools and even AI

Present and defend visual design solutions to senior stakeholders.

Stay connected to the larger UX team by sharing and applying knowledge

Support teammates by sharing design tips, trends, and techniques to elevate the whole team’s work.

Drive efficiency and scale through process improvement and/or automation

What you need to succeed:

Prior experience in a similar position preferably in an e-commerce environment or in an advertising/creative agency.

5+ years of experience as a visual designer in a digital environment

Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent professional experience

Expert proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) 

Stays connected to visual design and technology trends, quality benchmarking tools, and AI, shares knowledge with team

Expert design foundations in color and typography, accessible interaction, creation and use of libraries, image treatment, icons and other visual elements

Strong stakeholder management with the ability to gather and clarify business requirements, turning them into exceptional customer-focused world-class designs

Understanding of information architecture, usability, accessibility, UI and UX design

Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail

English speaker with good written, verbal, and presentation abilities

Nice-to-Have Expertise:

Master’s degree in design

Illustration abilities with experience designing infographics and data visualisations

Experienced in video editing motion graphics or animation

Ability to work within, and collaborate on, design systems

Team player with a positive / proactive attitude and sense of humor
