Creating art related to the colour styling and lighting design for Feature Animated films or TV. Responsibilities: Paint over existing CG renders/comps to bring life and inform lighting and colour. This role will not need to paint colour keys as a primary role but may be called on to help from time to timeExpert understanding of colour theory, lighting, and composition, to effectively convey emotions and narratives through lighting and colour choices. Understanding of camera effects such as depth of field, exposure, and lens flares, and how to apply those effects in a painting. The ability to interpret direction, offer constructive feedback and iterate on designs based on input.Successfully share information and ideas ensures that the most meaningful message is perfectly conveyedStrong communication and collaboration skills for seamless integration within a creative team. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.Complete work by the deadlineAttention to detail, creativity, and a passion for storytelling are additional traits.Responsible for generating colour keys for the Lighting Team and high resolution background paintings for compositing into final shots.Robust foundation in traditional art skills is essential. Mastery of drawing and painting techniques.A profound understanding of colour theory, lighting, and composition, to effectively convey emotions and narratives through colour choices. Proficiency in digital art tools, such as Adobe Photoshop or Procreate.Strong communication and collaboration skills for seamless integration within a creative team. The ability to interpret direction, offer constructive feedback, and iterate on designs based on input.Attention to detail, creativity, and a fervent passion for storytelling are additional traits.
