For the Sesto Fiorentino plant, Eli Lilly is looking for a Visual Inspection Engineer who will report to the TSMS Sr. Manager and be responsible for managing process issues, supporting improvement activities, and investigating non-conformities related to the process.

He/she is responsible for ensuring that the Qualification and Validation of the visual inspection lines are managed in compliance with GMP and Lilly standards, that complex process issues related to the visual inspection area are managed and solved, and, if necessary, escalated to the secondary loop.

Main responsibilities:

Check of the process parameters in order to prevent non-conformityIntervene on the line to understand the root cause of performance or quality lossesSupport investigation on non-conformity related to processCoordinate and/or execution operative activitiesWrite, execute and summarize protocols for change controlsInvestigate manufacturing changes with impact on the processSupport PV activitiesExecute technical studies for investigation or continuous improvementIs responsible of the maintenance and calibration status of test equipment of the linesCollaborate on complaint investigationsManagement of complex troubleshooting to solve process issues

Basic requirements:

Master's degree in a technical-scientific fieldAt least 1 year of previous experience in the role, preferably gained in pharmaceutical production contextsGood knowledge of visual inspection systems, mechanical, electrical and automation systemsGood knowledge of English and ability to interact with colleagues from other network plantsBasic knowledge of statisticsKnowledge of IT systems
