We have an exciting opportunity for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator (Temporary) based in London.

Department overview:

Our Visual Merchandising Coordinator at Michael Kors is fashion forward driven, multi-tasking and collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are a reliable, empowering, supportive and an effective communicator, able to deliver consistency in brand vision through the production of Visual Merchandising guidelines.

What You’ll Do:

You will deliver consistency in brand vision through the production and communication of visual merchandising floorsets, directives, POS and market support across Outlet, Wholesale and Travel Retail, partnering with corporate and field team members to achieve the best results for the business.

Collaborative role that involves supporting all key divisions from buy concept through to instore execution.

Manage the graphic design, production, and communication of all corporate visual floorsets and directives across all divisions and channels on a monthly and seasonal basis.Support Senior Manager and Visual Communications Coordinator with sign off for all documents.Manage the visual communication calendar and schedule, ensuring all tasks are fulfilled on time and tracked accordingly.Maintain and update the corporate visual database with all files saved for team visibility.Organise the creation and implementation of all window vinyl’s, store signage and POS.Support the merchandising team (Buying and Planning) with market buys, delivering seasonal presentations for sign off.Assist, when necessary, with the coordination and set-up of showrooms and corporate store floorsets. Assist the visual manager with market research; be knowledgeable on current and future industry trends.Partner with members of all levels in the organization, from store teams to vice presidents.Partner with visual Projects team on the communication of new props and window scheme launches.Reinforce global objective and strategies related to fixtures, props, and product enhancement within all directives.Travel to stores to support installations and gain feedback for directive development.

You’ll Need to Have:

3-5 years of retail experience, creating visual directives or similar.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and the addition of PowerPoint, and Excel.Proficiency in graphic design with the ability to use various design programs is ideal.Intermediate photography skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to interface with internal and external partners.Ability to travel and work within a team or independently.
