Visual Merchandising Production CNC Technician - Dubuque, IA
Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: 

The VM Production CNC Technician is responsible for the direct operation, programing, and production output 

of the CNC router, as directly by the production manager. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Programming the CNC for production via provided software 

Overseeing the safe operation of the machine through-out production 

Maintain the safe and accurate operation of the CNC and support equipment at all times. 

Work with production manager on production schedules as relates to machine  

Ability to work independently with a high regard for detail, accuracy, and quality 

Track timeline of manufacturing to meet department deadlines and schedules 

Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources

QUALIFICATIONS: 

3-5 Years Cabinetry / Fine Woodworking experience 

Knowledge of basic/advanced building techniques 

Experience and aptitude in AutoCad, and required operating software for CNC 

Ability to read and edit technical drawings  

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively 

Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills 

Ability to travel and work flexible schedules 

Strong organizational and time management skills
