•Meeting end user needs by ensuring the uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of the computers managed within established budgets and operational guidelines
•Acquiring, installing, and upgrading computer components and software and planning for/responding to service outages and other problems
•Automating routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement
This position is a hands-on role, integrated in an energetic growing team where the primary role will be to take care of the company IT Infrastructure. As a member of the Hosting team, you will work closely with other teams and support them. Your responsibilities will be to automate, when possible, monitoring and operate and manage infrasctruture. You will cover problem and incident management, problem analysis, problem solving and access management.
We are looking for a team player, willing to collaborate and learn in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently with high self-motivation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Implementation and ongoing maintenance, security, and availability of Windows and VMware infrastructureTroubleshoot and resolve Windows OS and VMware related incidents and problems according to customer processesPerform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for OS and VMware related service problems as part of problem managementLiaise with support vendors for maintenance, support or issues resolution.Support Windows Server based systems, system software, clustering software and system management agents.Monitor and analyze the capacity and performance of storage and virtualization systemsAssist in analysing historical usage for tracking and trending by CPU, memory, I/O and storageReview event logs on a regular basis based on business requirementsMaintenance of physical and virtual servers (VMware), storage devices, storage networkMaintenance and management of the server´s backups solution (Veeam)Provide technical support during disasterEvaluate and review patches, before and after installationWriting/updating technical design, build and process documentationWork with change requests & incident monitoring system (ServiceNow)About You
