The role As a VMware Service Engineer with German language at SoftwareOne AG, you will be joining a team that sets the standard for excellence in IT services. Based in our Sofia, Bulgaria office, you will play a pivotal role in delivering flawless VMware-based solutions. What we need to see from you Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements. Develops and enriches the product portfolio of cloud services and improved services. Required Technical Skills: VMware infrastructure (Data Center, vSAN) specialist; Experience with OnPrem vCloud Foundation (VCF); Experience in other VMware products (Aria Automation, Aria Operations, Aria Logs, NSX); Experience in JavaScript, Powershell and/or REST; Experience with managed services and/or infrastructure projects within data center; Experience with architecture and design; Certification: VCAP-DCV; Certification level nice to have: VCAP-DCV (or other VMware certifications like *-CMA, HCI Master, vSAN Specialist). Language Skills: German: Written and spoken German (C1-level) to effectively conduct workshops and understand complex technical concepts. English: Good command of English for seamless communication and documentation (B2-C1). Soft Skills: Good communication and documentation skills to collaborate with customers and internal teams; Good experience in technology consulting and implementation; Project and/or Service Management Skills.
