What you’ll do:

The VOCA Director is primarily responsible for the delivery of the treatment milieu consisting of Case Management, Behavior Health, Medical, Admissions, Transitions, and Career, Religious, and Volunteer Services.  The Director  is responsible for administration; policy and program development; staff management; revenue and expense budgets and operations; and for working with students, staff, faculty and colleagues in developing goals, objectives and strategies, setting standards of operations and performance, and establishing short term and long term plans.  The VOCA Director is a senior management position that reports to the Program Director and serves as a member of the Site Management Team. 

To be considered, you should:

Possess a BA/BS in a related field (Master’s Degree preferred). Possess the education and current specific licensure required per licensing in the field of mental health as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  Five years of related experience in residential facility operations. For sites operating in Maryland, all direct-care staff must comply with COMAR 14.31.06.06. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projects. Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees.    If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver.  Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years. Strong knowledge of overall company operations and policies and procedures. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Ability to perform work with little or no supervision. Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing. Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week with the possibility of a varied schedule.  Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must have excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships. Ability to provide exemplary customer service to all employees and outside constituents. Ability to function independently and as a member of a team in a multi-task environment. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions. Proficient in the use of computers and associated software
