Key Responsibilities:

Treat all clients, referral sources, stakeholders, and team members with dignity and respectDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of disabilities and potential assistive technology/accommodations to support individuals in meeting their goalsCompile and review vocational, medical, psychological, and educational information to assist clients with skill development and career planningConduct activities identified within clients’ individualized service plansCoordinate paid, work-based learning experiences, including orientation and new hire paperworkMonitor and report on progress toward individualized service plan goalsProvide onsite job supports to assist clients with learning and performing their job dutiesEducate employers regarding the benefits of hiring persons with disabilities and facilitate job accommodationsServe as a liaison between employers, clients, and co-workersPromote the organization and its services in a professional manner through community events and awareness activities

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required; an associate’s or bachelor's degree in an applicable field from an accredited institution is preferredExperience in rehabilitation, employment services, case management, social services, or other applicable experience is preferred

Additional Qualifications:

Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insuranceSuccessful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objectsRepetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shiftJobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met
