We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Voice and Collaboration Engineer to join the State Street Network Engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in implementing and designing our IT Voice infrastructure while ensuring the continued management, and support of the environment. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a global organization and develop network and telephony skills in support of the next generation data center and cloud architectures. Ideal candidates will have basic network and voice experience and be highly motivated to expand their knowledge in traditional voice, telephony solutions in public cloud.
Responsibilities:
Experience in the design, implementation, transformation, troubleshooting and support of technologies including VOIP, IPT, collaboration tools, Audio/Video ConferencingProven experience of design, delivery, and transformation of IPT/UC environmentsWork with colleagues in other technology and business groups to understand technology and business requirementsWork with peers to define the overall strategic direction for the collaboration solutions.Create, develop and support solutions to complex technical, procedural, and logistical problemsDevelop, document and update standards documentationBe the technical escalation point for IP Telephony suite of productsRequired Skills and Experience
Basic networking knowledge.General telecom knowledge - PSTN/Fax.Knowledge of CUBE/Cisco CUCM.Troubleshooting skills and understanding of telephony/UC protocols, H323, SIP, T38, TLS and CodecsExperience setting up and working with Oracle SBC.Prior experience in a banking environment will be preferred.Working knowledge of Genesys cloud contact center solution will be beneficial.Nice recording knowledge will be a bonus.Minimum 8-12 years’ experience in the Voice & Collaboration fieldDemonstrated ability to work under intense pressure when resolving complex issues with strict deadlinesProblem Management: proactive and forward thinking to identify and manage incidents.Soft Skills
