Description:

The Eddy Residential services Division is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to work with our skilled nursing facilities across the Capital District.  The Eddy is known as a leader in the field of skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation operating 858 beds across Albany, Troy, and Clifton Park.  
The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support various activities within our facilities.  This role is crucial in fostering a sense of community and enriching the lives of our residents through meaningful interactions, activities, and opportunities for connections with the neighbors in the communities the residents reside.
 

Key areas of responsibility include.

Development and implementation of a volunteer program that aligns with the goals of each nursing home community.Collaborate with Nursing Home leadership and staff to identify opportunities for volunteer involvement.Provide ongoing support, recognition, satisfaction, and oversight to the volunteers.Previous experience in volunteers’ coordination preferred.Excellent Communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and volunteers

Education Requirements:      

Baccalaureate degree preferred with one-year experience administering a volunteer program or associate's degree with five years comprehensive experience administering a volunteer program.

Recruit volunteers that ensure a diverse and dedicated team committed to the well-being and engagement of our residents.

Pay Range: $19.20- $25.85
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
