**Job Description:** Unpaid volunteer contributing time to PCH School Services, volunteering with the book cart and/or helping with Circle Time (in house TV show with School Services). The School Services Department at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City needs several volunteers to assist us in our mission to provide quality services to our patients while they are hospitalized. We are looking for volunteers to perform the following jobs. **Circle Time** volunteers help with preparing for the in-house tv show put on by School Services. The volunteer walks around to invite preschool patients to tune in to the show and give them a prop to use to interact with us (8:30-930am). Then the volunteer would help during filming (9:30-10:00am) and then spend the last hour helping us with various school things. **Book Cart** volunteers to take our book carts around to patient rooms to offer free books to our hospitalized patients. **Available Schedule:** **Circle Time:** Tuesdays or Thursdays 8am-11am **Book Cart:** Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, and hours within the time frame of 9:00am-4:00pm, with at least a 3-hour commitment each week. **Physical Requirements:** **Qualifications:** + Must be at least 18 years old. + Able to follow and execute instructions + Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. + Able to work with children in varying age groups + Able to work well with diverse populations + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Sensitive to patient and family situations / dynamics + Maintain and respect professional relationships **Location:** Intermountain Health Primary Childrens Hospital **Work City:** Salt Lake City **Work State:** Utah **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 0 Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer.
