Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Under minimal supervision, assists the Volunteer Services Director with the administration of the Volunteer Services program and ongoing management of volunteers.Assists with the recruitment, interview, and onboarding process for new volunteer applicants This includes screening candidates, initial contact, application management, recruitment advertising and scheduling.Coordinates and assists in the delivery of volunteer compliance training for new volunteers, as well as annual compliance training as required by Joint Commission. Ensures completion of performance assessments for volunteers per schedule. Utilizes web-based volunteer management system (Volgistics) to manage the online volunteer application; maintain electronic volunteer files; communicate with volunteers; and produce statistics and other reports.Coordinates and provides administrative support to the volunteer and employee recognition programs. Coordinates the annual Fall Volunteer Celebration Luncheon and festivities for Volunteer Appreciation WeekWorks closely with department and unit supervisors throughout the organization to identify the need for volunteer services and coordinates the placement of volunteers in their areas.Responsible for both physical and electronic file management, including confidential medical informationWorks closely with Employee Health to ensure volunteers meet annual flu compliance. Schedules onboarding Employee Health appointments for new adult volunteer applicants.Overseas the daily operations of the Volunteer Services Office. Orders and maintains office supplies ensuring supply costs remain at or under budget. Trains new staff or volunteers on routine office procedures and ensures volunteers have clear guidance on daily tasks or projects.Creates and maintains standardized forms for office use, including recruitment material, business communication, and resource material for staff. $48,906.24 - $75,804.67Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
