Volunteer Services Coordinator
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Volunteer Services Coordinator in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Volunteer Services Coordinator, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our volunteer services. You will be responsible for managing referrals, maintaining accurate volunteer records, conducting background checks, and liaising with various departments and agencies. Responsibilities: + Oversee and manage the referral process from career centers and online sources + Ensure thorough and timely entry of volunteer hours into Salesforce + Execute multiple background checks to maintain the safety and integrity of our services + Regularly communicate with referring agencies, retail management, and warehouse management to address any issues or concerns regarding volunteers + Prepare and send necessary documentation such as Referral for Service forms and weekly hours to the relevant bodies + Monitor volunteer hours and maintain accurate records + Participate in regular meetings for effective coordination and communication within the team + Exit volunteers in Salesforce on a weekly basis and remove individuals who have completed their hours + Respond to potential health and safety issues in consultation with the appropriate department, ensuring all incidents and accidents are reported as per procedure + Prepare completed hours timesheets and letters for the referring agency and municipalities as needed. Requirements + Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus + + Proficiency in Avaya CMS is required for efficient call management. + Familiarity with banking software is necessary for managing financial transactions. + Competency in a variety of computer programs is essential for effective task execution. + Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required for optimal client interaction. + Ability to manage and respond to inbound calls is crucial for customer service. + Understanding of benefit functions is necessary for managing volunteer benefits and compensation.
