Voyager Senior Finance Manager
**Job Description :** **Context/Scope** Diageo Digital & Technology functions serve to equip our markets to deliver Diageo’s performance ambition. Portfolio & Project Center within Diageo Digital & Technology is responsible to deliver IT projects utilising circa $260m investment annually and a $360m BAU budget in order to ensure that our processes and systems are up-to-date and forward looking, also in line with internal requirements and external benchmarking. Voyager Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting our core transformational programme. Through this program Diageo aims to drive process and data standardization and simplification. This program will be delivered over a multi-year period and across multi-waves with a global geographic reach, with a multi-year budget of c$440m. Performance will be delivered by providing world class financial reporting, insightful analysis on overall programme financial health, performance, opportunities and risks as well as benefits attainment throughout the complete lifecycle of the project **Dimensions** _Financial:_ Programme investment is circa $680m over 6 years delivering multi functional annualised benefits including tax and trade benefits ($30m), overhead reduction ($27m), GP growth ($72m) etc. Voyager Finance Business Partner is responsible to ensure that CAPEX and OPEX investment is managed with consistent approach and performance is reviewed on a regular basis: - Workstream budget allocation in line with long term plan - Track in-flight cost within approved budget - Track realized benefits following project go-live to achieve our vision and drive competitive advantage for Diageo - Facilitate to of efficiency and effectiveness to deliver productivity target _Market Complexity:_ This is a global role and as such may deal with many markets around the world. Complexity of the role is also driven by the scope of the projects that requires different vendors to execute. _Leadership Responsibilities:_ This role has one direct report. Voyager Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in driving increased value from the investment through robust preparation, responsibility for planning & delivering the AOP for the programme, effective decision support and insightful analysis on performance, end-to-end financial support from annual financial planning through execution, scenario modelling and driving productivity initiatives. Ability to influence and manage key stakeholders is critical to the success of this role, where stakeholders vary from the IT, business and external vendor community: • Programme Director • Voyager Leadership Team • Voyager Workstream leads • Diageo Digital & Technology Leadership Team • Diageo Digital & Technology Finance Director • Diageo Digital & Technology Project Finance team • Diageo Procurement teams • D&T Portfolio Finance Manager • 3rd Party Vendors **Purpose of Role** The Voyager Finance Business Partner role will be key in achieving our performance promise enabling programme processes and providing finance expertise and guidelines to the programme leadership team. It is a critical function that assures reporting accuracy on overall programme health and benefits attainment throughout the complete lifecycle of the programme **Top 3-5 Accountabilities** • Key financial Business Partner for Portfolio & Project Center and for Programme supporting financial planning, forecasting, actual cost and performance management whilst ensuring financial discipline and effective controls across the programme • Continually maintain an insight and data driven performance culture through regular monthly BPM and O&R process • Coordinate and facilitate approvals requiring senior level sign-off based on the statement of authority • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve programme financial processes • Drive enhanced financial capabilities for the voyager programme **Qualifications and Experience** • University/College degree in business / finance / accounting • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance and project environment ideally including business case development and financial modelling • No financial accounting expertise is required, however understanding of the impact/correspondence of investments on the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow is must • Strong financial analysis skills and attention to details • Strong use of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and PowerPoint • Ability to prioritize and manage expectations of several stakeholders • Good influencer, at a senior level with non-finance stakeholders • Experience of working and managing global teams across multiple locations and with diverse cultures • Experience in Agile method and/ or PPM tools a great advantage • Commercial acumen • Interested in Technology solutions (Cloud based solutions, Saas funcitionalitites, etc.) **Worker Type :** Regular **Primary Location:** Budapest **Additional Locations :** Bangalore Karle Town SEZ **Job Posting Start Date :** 2025-01-16 With over 200 brands sold in more than 180 countries, we’re the world’s leading premium drinks company.
