JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will lead multiple teams across the Business Application and Data Platforms group. You will ensure that your business stakeholders are supported with world-class, modern technology platforms that drive business value. You will work with stakeholders and teams across FOX to formulate entrepreneurial product roadmaps based on FOX's modern and industry-leading technology platforms. As part of the senior leadership team, you will collaborate with peers to build highly functioning and organizationally healthy teams. Your main stakeholders will include Programming & Scheduling, News Gathering teams, Publicity, Digital Products, as well as FOX's Title Master Data Management platform. 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Roadmap and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and document strategic roadmaps for your areas of responsibility, regularly engaging with stakeholders to align on priorities, address evolving business needs, and report on progress.Mission Clarity and Team Alignment: Consistently communicate team missions, behavior expectations, and current priorities, ensuring that each team member understands their role and the team’s purpose within the organization.Leadership and Execution Excellence: Set high standards for systematic and structured execution of projects and operational support, guiding team leaders in consistent project management practices.Strategic Budget and Project Oversight: Thoughtfully manage and track budgets and forecasts for areas under your responsibility, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Stakeholder Communication and Clarity: Ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of key project milestones, responsibilities, and project goals, establishing a well-documented communication framework.Project ROI and Evaluation: Evaluate and monitor the return on investment of projects, striving for value within reasonable timeframes and ensuring each project aligns with organizational priorities.Role Clarity and Team Coordination: Promote clarity around roles and responsibilities within project teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment across all levels.Documentation and Issue Tracking: Implement and oversee universally adopted, structured processes for issue tracking, enhancement requests, and project documentation, maintaining regular reviews with stakeholders.Data-Driven Problem Solving: Utilize data to analyze problem frequencies and prioritize solutions, setting and tracking quantitative targets to assess progress and impact on operations.Presentation and Executive Communication: Craft and deliver compelling presentations tailored to engage executives, effectively communicating technology vision and strategy through storytelling.Team Development and Talent Management: Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a team culture of humility, drive, and collaboration, and ensuring all roles are filled with engaged, high-performing team players.Organizational Alignment and Vision Communication: Maintain an understanding of the company's direction and strategic initiatives, aligning team strategies with the broader company vision and values.Team Culture and Morale Management: Actively work to improve the organizational health of your teams, managing morale and key personnel decisions to sustain productivity and a positive culture.Guidance and Coaching: Provide mentorship to subordinate managers, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaborative growth.Professional Development and Thought Leadership: Engage in ongoing professional development, co-present internal training sessions, and represent Fox at external events, sharing insights and building a network across the industry.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

Familiarity with media programming, scheduling, and news operations.Experience in enterprise data governance and compliance practices. Background in supporting applications within high-growth or digital media environments.Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and MulesoftExperience with Enterprise OpenAI GPT technology

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $222,500.00-314,000.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $185,400.00-261,600.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
