VP, Category Management
The Vice President, Category Management Leader is accountable for our Category and Product’s contribution to our annual brand and consumer goals. This role is the engine for creativity and innovation as it relates to Arby’s products being first, best, only in category.This role is responsible for leading brand's category management function, including establishing culinary strategic priorities, including culinary identity, category, product and menu design.This role will partner with key internal functions, including Culinary, Insights, and Analytics to achieve the brand’s objectives and create a culture passionate about food.

RESPONSIBILITIESLead the definition of Arby’s culinary identity. As well as each category and products strategy, role, and performance in contributing to the business. Lead category and product pipeline. Constant innovation and renovation towards objectives.Build business cases for product/program recommendation in stage gate process to move forward to testing/validation and/or launch.Collaborate with culinary team to refine concepts and develop products for against Category Management led briefsLead Arby’s food culture. Including leadership of  latest trends in ingredients, formulations, competitors, suppliersEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS4 year degree in Business, Marketing or related field.  Master’s degree preferred. 15+ years of experience in Category Management, Marketing or related field

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIESStrategically-minded marketer with strong business acumen, including P&L fluencyDeep understanding of QSR/CDR categories that are relevant for the brand, including market trends, consumer, competitorsAbility to develop a culinary roadmap, including strategic priorities, product, and menu designExperience taking product ideas from iteration to execution, including cross-functional collaborationStrong communication skills and ability to speak and write concisely and effectively, adapting messages to a range of audiencesCreative thinker and conceptual problem-solver who can unlock growth opportunities across the categorySelf-starter and entrepreneurial leader who performs in a lean, fast-paced environmentThrives in collaborative, matrixed, and cross-functional organization with strong ability to influenceAbility to develop and mentor othersDevelop business cases including forecasting, P&L builds, etc
