Position Summary:

VP Client Service Reporting to the Head of Client Service -Transaction Banking for the Americas, the VP of Client Service will be responsible for a team servicing clients in the GCIB/JCB Transaction Banking book of business in the Americas. This role is customer centric servicing focusing on customer engagement, client retention, accuracy, and efficiency.  

Responsibilities:

Manage a customer service team supporting the day-to-day banking activities and Cash Management products for Transaction Banking Clients to ensure excellent client experience. Ensure timely resolution of client requests including tracking and reporting.Utilizing performance metrics to ensure quality to meet or exceed client expectations within established Service Levels.Responsible for carrying out departmental/ divisional projects and strategic initiatives.Coach, counsel and develop staff i.e. hiring and training staff; prepare and conduct performance appraisals.Manage teams’ adherence to policies and procedures.Effectively manage teams’ key performance indicators.Maintain a high level of employee engagement, assisting with escalations and staff training.Be compliant with all bank policies and regulations.Ensure that staff efforts are integrated and aligned with TB market objectives, product development and management, client experience activities and objectives.Continued team and self-development to strengthen knowledge in treasury management strategies, treasury management product features and benefits, and technical developments.Actively ensure compliance with the Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-MoneyLaundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required training and certifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

Undergraduate degree required. 5+ years’ experience in Treasury Services, including significant change management responsibilities within a financial institution. 5+ years of supervisory experienceAbility to execute both strategic and tactical efforts related to the development and management of client delivery services, processes, and enhancements.Proven experience operating in a complex, dynamic payments or treasury service-related environment, ideally within a bank or major financial technology firm.Knowledge of the Treasury Services/Transaction Banking industry.Knowledge of delivering Transaction Banking services to Asian corporate clients is preferred. Demonstrated experience in managing projects across functional areasExceptional quantitative and strategic thinking skillsExcellent client skills and a solid understanding of business and financial marketsStrong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and an ability to interact with all levels of managementStrong relationship management skills and ability to effectively manage and provide exceptional customer experiences for clients while working with regional leaders, international transaction banking colleagues, and other TBA functions within a matrixed frameworkDemonstrated superior leadership and management experiences with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environmentProven ability to effectively: Hire, retain and develop talented employees

The typical base pay range for this role is between $116K - $137K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
