Job Description

As Vice President and part of the commodity sales team of North America, the main tasks involve growing the commodity execution client portfolio in the commodities hedging space. Support with the strategy to help extend the commodities offering understanding clients’ needs and their hedging policies to be able to offer tailored solutions. Ideal to have specific knowledge on commodity agriculture/energy options such as accumulators & other exotic products.

You and Your Job

As a VP Commodities Sales for North America, you will be successful if you achieve client engagement a good coverage and activity with the purpose of helping our clients to manage the risk on their commodities exposure.

The main objective is to help our clients manage their commodities risk exposure. Understand their hedging needs and risk appetite as well as how the clients’ operation works, how the business is developed and how the commodities prices impact their business. The member needs to be able to understand the different alternatives the client has to manage their commodities risks. Evaluate their different alternatives and offer what is best for the client considering their profile and their objectives. Relevant to stay updated in terms of the commodities markets developments and what could impact prices in the short and long term.

Job Responsibilities

Be a team player and collaborate with the strategy to help with the growth of the commodities offering across NA.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the VP Commodities Sales, North America role, you must have:

BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Engineering,

5+ years’ experience in over the counter commodity products.

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Murex, Bloomberg, Power BI is a plus.

Experience in originating client transactions.

Intimate familiarity with global markets, structured products, derivatives, accounting, regulations

Analytical/Investigative technical skills

Ability to travel regionally, up to 50%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $140,000.00 - $230,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
