THE ROLE
NewCo is looking for an experienced corporate communications leader that will be responsible for crafting and telling NewCo’s purpose story to our key stakeholders to positively shape the strategy and business. In this role, you will report to the Chief People Officer and develop and direct communications strategies for our employer brand and reputation, through internal and external multi-channel campaign strategies, in support of key priorities. This includes executive communications and leadership branding, public relations, employer branding and culture, employee programs, change management, and leadership events – both at the NewCo level and tightly integrated with our operating company (OpCo) communications.

TEAM AND KEY PARTNERSHIPS
You will lead a team of both in-house and agency communications professionals responsible for internal and external communications, public relations, communications channel management, and content creation. Key partnerships include but aren’t limited to NewCo Senior Leaders, Human Resources Communities of Excellence (COEs) and functional leaders, Investor Relations, the NewCo Business System office, Legal, IT, Partner agencies, and Operating Company leaders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategic Communications: Create multi-stage, targeted communication strategies designed to advance strategic business priorities and initiatives, across a variety of multi-media channels and audiences. Employee Marketing: Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure integrated messaging and alignment with corporate goals across all internal and external communication channels, including digital and social platforms, intranet, and corporate website. Develop vision for relevant, original, high-quality multi-media content and storytelling designed to bring to life our promise to our team. Build social media talent marketing plan and road map. Public Relations: Develop strategic PR plan and road map, designed to accelerate NewCo’s brand awareness and affinity, including media relationships and placements, thought leadership, awards, and events. Execute the plan in partnership with Investor Relations, agency partners, and OpCo leaders. Reputation Management: Monitor and address potential issues that could impact the company's reputation, including crisis situations and social issues, by marshalling internal stakeholders and developing effective communication plans and responses. Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Manage and develop a team of communications professionals, and leverage external agencies, to execute against the communications strategy. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. Build key relationships including senior leaders, functional peers, OpCo leaders, to ensure integrated, audience-centric communications.WHO YOU ARE
Master’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing and/or 10 – 12+ year of experience in a related field Strong strategic thinker with the ability and the skillset to see the bigger picture as well as understanding the details across clients and campaigns Demonstrate and provide examples of game-changing strategies and execution that resulted in positive business outcomes Capability to develop and drive our corporate narrative across a wide range of internal and external channels Effectively communicate, collaborate with, and influence executives and cross-functional leaders Organizational skills to oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously to manage priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines Able to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity and integrity Detail-oriented, especially regarding connections across and validating clarity and accuracy of a large volume of content/information Is proactive and takes initiative.
