The Vice President of Enterprise Applications and IT Delivery reports to the SVP, Information Technology and is responsible for developing and executing IT initiatives and managing enterprise application solutions. This role involves leading large-scale projects, fostering innovation, and ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals to drive growth and operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Applications Inventory: Maintain an IT applications inventory and determine future roadmaps for systems.

Enterprise Applications Management: Oversee the implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications to support business operations.

Operational Efficiencies: Lead business partnerships to find operational efficiencies using existing technology platforms (mainly SAP).

ERP Roadmap: Partner with the SVP, IT and the business on developing a long-term strategy for SAP upgrade paths and roadmaps.

Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance business processes and customer experiences.

Financial Leadership: Lead IT financial planning, budgeting, and administration with the SVP, IT and leadership team. Establish and manage annual capital and operating expense budgets, coordinating monthly updates and reviews.

Financial Transparency: Ensure transparency in IT financials by providing a clear view of the total cost of ownership. This includes detailed tracking and reporting of all IT expenditures, enabling informed decision-making and accountability. Coordinate with Finance on Capex activities and processes, including monthly capital spend forecasting.

Vendor Management: Develop and manage strategic vendor relationships with external vendors and measure their health to ensure contractual compliance.

Managed Services Provider Management: Oversight of the managed services teams to ensure optimal value realization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure IT initiatives support and enhance business operations.

Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of IT initiatives.

Compliance and Risk: Direct IT compliance team to perform risk evaluation and compliance management.

People Management: Sets an exceedingly high standard for conduct and drives a positive employee experience through leadership through employee development, mentoring and coaching.

WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 15+ years of IT experience, encompassing strategy and financial management across various domains such as sales, business management, supply chain, and demand planning; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

Leadership: Minimum of 7+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development is required.

Broad knowledge: Understanding of business processes as well as process controls and risks and an understanding on how this relates to the IT environment and audit procedures. Experience with IT Planning, Strategy, Financial Management, Procurement and Contract processes.

Technical Expertise: Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and architecture of computer systems as well as exposure to a variety of platforms such as operating systems, networks, databases, and ERP systems. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and JD Edwards.
