Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Develops and executes finance technology transformation initiatives, including process redesign, vendor selection for tools/implementation, defining business and functional requirements and building capability to manage and maintain systems/processesWorks closely with vendors and implementation partners to ensure technology solutions meet business expectations, including needs assessments, configuration, testing and go-live supportWorks with key stakeholders to define and maintain finance data management strategy, including interdependencies with key applicationsPartners with finance process owners and application owners to facilitate finance automationOversees change management programs for the finance team, including assessment, design, training and communicationsMaintains a continuous improvement approach to ensure processes and internal controls scale with changes in MGE’s business, technologies and accounting policies, including streamlining of close, audit and reporting activitiesPartners with key stakeholders in finance, information technology and human resources at both the corporate and property levels to identify future transformation initiatives

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains strong relationships with finance and information technology teams, including serving as primary liaison to the information technology team for financial systemsAdvises senior leadership on best-in-class practices and technologies, as well as current trends impacting finance organizationsManages initiatives across finance teams to strengthen execution and capabilitiesSupports long-term employee success with a focus on coaching and developing a high-performing team

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferredAt least 15 years of experience in finance positions of increasing scope and responsibility in diverse, complex and global environments, including at least 10 years of senior leadership experience and established track record of leading large, complex and cross-functional finance processesGaming and entertainment, hospitality or Fortune 500 experience preferredSignificant experience in finance transformation, including ERP implementation, operational excellence, process optimization and organizational changeLean Six Sigma and/or PMP certification preferredExceptional organization and project management skillsExcellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Knowledge of Mohegan corporate and department policies and proceduresThorough understanding of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment
