JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING EMPLOYEE, PLEASE NAVIGATE TO THE INTERNAL JOB POSTING USING THIS LINK: https://www.myworkday.com/mohegan/d/inst/1$9925/9925$5490.htmld Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to: + Develops and executes finance technology transformation initiatives, including process redesign, vendor selection for tools/implementation, defining business and functional requirements and building capability to manage and maintain systems/processes + Works closely with vendors and implementation partners to ensure technology solutions meet business expectations, including needs assessments, configuration, testing and go-live support + Works with key stakeholders to define and maintain finance data management strategy, including interdependencies with key applications + Partners with finance process owners and application owners to facilitate finance automation + Oversees change management programs for the finance team, including assessment, design, training and communications + Maintains a continuous improvement approach to ensure processes and internal controls scale with changes in MGE’s business, technologies and accounting policies, including streamlining of close, audit and reporting activities + Partners with key stakeholders in finance, information technology and human resources at both the corporate and property levels to identify future transformation initiatives Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: + Develops and maintains strong relationships with finance and information technology teams, including serving as primary liaison to the information technology team for financial systems + Advises senior leadership on best-in-class practices and technologies, as well as current trends impacting finance organizations + Manages initiatives across finance teams to strengthen execution and capabilities + Supports long-term employee success with a focus on coaching and developing a high-performing team Minimum Education and Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred + At least 15 years of experience in finance positions of increasing scope and responsibility in diverse, complex and global environments, including at least 10 years of senior leadership experience and established track record of leading large, complex and cross-functional finance processes + Gaming and entertainment, hospitality or Fortune 500 experience preferred + Significant experience in finance transformation, including ERP implementation, operational excellence, process optimization and organizational change + Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP certification preferred + Exceptional organization and project management skills + Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: + Knowledge of Mohegan corporate and department policies and procedures + Thorough understanding of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment Training Requirements: + [Understanding of Time and Attendance and Database Management systems] Physical Demands and Work Environment: + Office work environment + Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time + Travel may be required for meetings and/or conferences + Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
