ADP is hiring a VP, Fraud Prevention
As a direct report to the Chief Security Officer, the VP of Fraud Prevention will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies to detect, prevent, and mitigate internal and external fraud and related financial risks across the enterprise. The successful candidate will lead a team of experts and work collaboratively with various stakeholders to implement layered controls to protect ADP and ADP client funds and data.
The VP Fraud Prevention works with the other leaders of the converged Global Security Organization on strategic planning and coordinating prioritized technical and process controls that balance client experience with robust fraud prevention and detection.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute a comprehensive financial fraud prevention strategy, policies, and procedures. Lead and manage a team of fraud prevention investigators, specialists and analysts. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities and control deficiencies within products, operational and business processes Implement advanced fraud detection tools and technologies to proactively identify suspicious activities. Develop analytics, using modern approaches including behavioral, machine learning and AI to drive prevention and early detection of fraud patterns. Investigate and analyze financial fraud incidents, gather evidence, and liaise with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Units, Global Products and Technology, Legal, Compliance and Finance to ensure a coordinated approach to fraud prevention. Monitor emerging fraud threats and trends in the financial industry to adapt the prevention strategy accordingly. Provide regular reports and updates to the Executive Committee (XCOM) and the board of directors on the status of fraud prevention efforts. Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, such as financial institutions and industry associations. Develop and deliver training programs to educate associates on fraud prevention best practices.
Overall:
Consults with the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and other corporate, business unit and division leaders to determine methods and solutions to proactively manage and reduce operational risk to the company, make security a differentiator in the market, address emerging quality, control, risk and governance issues to help the company achieve competitive advantage in the marketplace and the company’s ability to operate. Maintains a strong working relationship with the CSO directs & other leaders (particularly Fraud, Data Protection, Cyber and Infrastructure, Risk & Business Security Officers (BSO), Chief Privacy Officer (CPO), and Global Product and Technology (GPT) leaders) to partner in the delivery of technical programs, integrated and operational product and application security, go-to-market security services that have product and data related impact. Develops, mentors and motivates highly effective associates within the security organization. Leverages internal and external relationships and influence within the organization to ensure success.Qualifications:
15+ years of relevant experience in financial fraud detection, investigation, and prevention. 5-10+ years of management experience leading a diverse, geographically dispersed team. Technical knowledge and experience applying analytic techniques and anomaly identification. Professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) preferred. Experience in a similar role in a large and complex organization. Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communications skills with a proactive, positive approach to solving problems Works well under pressure and within time/budget constraints Collaborates effectively with cross-functional entities across the enterprise. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to financial fraud. Demonstratable ability to influence decision‐making processes at all levels of a large organization will be critical to Strong leadership skills and be effective managers of highly technical individuals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience speaking in public forums and writing/contributing to technical publications.You'll love working here because:
