Hexcel is currently seeking a highly skilled and specialized VP, Global Corporate & Marketing Communications to join our team in our Stamford, CT location. This position reports to the EVP Human Resources & Communications

The Vice President for Global Corporate & Marketing Communications is accountable for shaping and coordinating Hexcel’s strategic growth, business and financial story and how it is communicated to key stakeholders globally. This a unique opportunity to evolve the role corporate and marketing communications contributes and plays in driving outcomes for the company and enhancing recognition of Hexcel’s position as a global leader in its industry.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Key responsibilities:

1. External/Media Relations:

Working with the investor relations team, lead and manage all external communications, including media relations, news releases, and crisis communications.

Develop strategic communication plans for mergers and acquisitions, earnings announcements, and annual reports.

Oversee media monitoring and manage relationships with media outlets.

2. Digital and Social Media:

Oversee the company's digital presence, including the corporate website and social media channels.

Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all digital platforms.

Manage the development and execution of social media strategies.

3. Internal Communications:

Lead internal communication efforts to engage and inform employees.

Oversee the production of internal newsletters, organizational announcements, and the CEO blog.

Develop and implement communication plans for employee engagement initiatives.

4. Branding and Trademarks:

Manage the company's branding guidelines and standards.

Approve the use of the company's name and trademarks by external parties.

5. Community Relations:

Chair the company’s Foundation

Lead community relations initiatives, including matching gifts, annual foundation donations, and community involvement programs.

Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events and sponsorships.

6. Marketing Communications:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and design, to align marketing communications with overall business objectives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.

Strong media relations skills and experience managing crisis communications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies.

Experience with Adobe InDesign and other design software.
