Position Overview
Join our dynamic and fast-paced company by playing a critical role in elevating and expanding our customer and prospect facing events and programs. As the Vice President of Executive Programs and Events, you will own the strategy and execution for bringing together and expanding our customer and prospect events inclusive of our global event strategy for tradeshows, executive forums, global customer advisory boards, briefing center programs and industry executive events under one umbrella for UKG. You will have a customer-first mentality and are passionate about building programs that address perception, build stronger relationships, and add velocity to pipeline, all which can be scaled to meet the needs of our rapidly growing business. You are a skilled cultivator of prospect and customer relationships and will work closely with internal stakeholders.
This position will add velocity to the pipeline, build programs, formalize our approach to global events across the varying customer and industry segments UKG serves and expand customer evidence, feedback and requirements materials to deepen and elevate relationships with existing and prospective customers.
This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with UKG customer marketing, brand marketing, global field marketing, product marketing, sales, customer success and product development teams. This individual must also manage timely deliverables with solid communication and possess cross-functional partnering skills.
Responsibilities
You will lead the strategy, development and implementation of a holistic and global prospect and customer event plan, advisory program incorporating peer-to-peer roundtables, executive briefings, executive forums, trade and industry events, both physical and virtual. In concert with sales and customer success leadership, you will lead the development and implementation of an Executive Briefing process to ensure intentional, memorable, and purposeful customer experience ensuring proper use of company resources. This includes the responsibility for the overall strategy, success, definition, execution, and results for the Executive Briefing program. This will include the cultivation of a discussion leader certification program, developing agendas, post event surveys, measurement and ROI. Work with product engineering during alpha and beta testing to cultivate and deliver "lighthouse customer references" centered around customer advisory board members, that help drive brand awareness and reset the customer and market perception of UKG. Working through an integrated approach, the VP will assist with creating experiences that allow clients to make a connection with our brand by generating buzz, spreading awareness, and motivating them to act through a global events strategy that includes industry and trade show event presence for 1:many as well as smaller 1:few and 1:1 executive events. Planning high-value executive events and engagements with support from a globally matrixed cross-functional team at locations across the globe. Provides exclusive support to executive leadership team in planning high-value, high-touch prospect engagements or creative deal pursuit experiences on a one-off basis as needed, solely for top tier enterprise prospects and customer pursuits. Leads event experience strategic execution for UKG programs in totality such as UKG Aspire, Sales Kick Off, Sales Incentive Program, etc. Develop and implement strategies for the first of it kind, Executive Sponsor program to drive growth and foster long-term partnerships with top customers. Work professionally and creatively with multiple third parties including MarTech software vendors, brand agencies, and advisory services. Uncover the motivators and goals of our customers and partner cross functionally to identify compelling opportunities for customers to engage in a newly formed Customer Advisory Board.Who You Are
12+ years of B2B marketing experience with at least 5 years focused on executive-level marketing Proven track record leading marketing programs at enterprise software companies Strong understanding of enterprise digital transformation, IT strategy, and business technology trends Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities Deep knowledge of modern marketing technologies and measurement approaches Outstanding executive presence and ability to engage credibly with C-suite leaders Demonstrated ability to craft and articulate compelling strategic narratives Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) programs History of successful partnership with sales organizations

The pay range for this position is $227,600 - $327,200, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
