VP, Global Merchandising
Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic and meticulous individual to join our team as the VP, Global Merchandising leading Global Digital, Wholesale and Retail Merchandising Team. This role requires successful collaboration with the Global Marketing Team and other functions across the organization at a global and regional level. A successful leader in this role will have a positive impact on our financial results as well as our Crocs team’s professional development.

What You'll Do

Lead Global Digital, Wholesale and Retail Merchandising Teams

Guide channel merchandising teams in business strategies, identifying channel needs, performance, style selling & hind-sighting. Support pricing and promotional decisions in conjunction with operations and finance teams to drive sales while improving margins Develop an aligned line by consumers and channels Support the global directed assortment and drive brand vision to achieve retail/wholesale goals with product assortment Carry out the lifecycle strategy in the product line for the target consumer and distribution channel Plan product stories by channel and align with global marketing and retail on creative/brand/VM plan with regional marketing and wholesale/retail partners. Be responsible for development of channel assortments and line list for each channel / key account. Collaborate with sales teams to develop assortment vision & channel strategy Support key account relationships Lead team in using data to forecast trends and plan product assortments Partner with category management to provide seasonal hind-sighting

Global Scope Responsibilities

Key point of contact for global retail, digital and wholesale merchandising Define global retail, digital and wholesale assortment Establish global retail, digital and wholesale merchandising strategy Approve regional deviation Report on global retail, digital and wholesale business Global retail, digital and wholesale collaboration with key stakeholders Ensure product line supports global strategies (retail, digital and wholesale) Gain deep understanding of major competition and mapping Provide VM strategy/guidance Inventory depth guidance Oversee and support in-season and day-to-day activities Help drive consistent processes across the digital, merchandise and wholesale merchandising groups Define merchandising segments and Go to Market strategies Drive global growth mapping and prioritization

Regional & Country Scope Responsibilities

Provide seasonal hindsight and narrative Provide regional market insights Establish regional merchandising strategy by country Oversee global to regional assortment management Create initial country-level line plan assortment Regional Adoption Intent - define regional assortment deviation Validate G20 strategic account plans - establish merchandising strategy by key account Establish pre-line approach in association with Global team Oversee local business reporting Support key account milestones and key meetings Localize and execute Go-to-Market strategy by channel What You'll Bring to the Table 15+ years of relevant progressive PLM, category management, and/or channel merchandising experience, preferably with a global brand that operates in multiple channels 7+ years proven experience at a senior level (managing large teams including retail, complex brand/distribution environments) Previous success at other global apparel or footwear brands preferred Comfort working in a highly cross-functional matrixed environment and driving a collaborative culture. Strong communication skills with the ability to actively engage and influence others Strong business insight with an ability to anticipate risks and identify contingency plans to minimize business disruption. Proven track record to synthesize information and clearly articulate an informed path forward. Salary or Pay Range: [[$310,000 - $375,000]]  

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
